SWATHI THIRUNAL SANGEETHOLSAVAM,ALAPPUZHA
SWATHI THIRUNAL SANGEETHOLSAVAM is a musical
and dance festival conducted every year in the month of April by a group of
like minded cultural organizations like Keraleeya Kalakshethram, Alappuzha
District Kadhakali Club, Raja Rajeswari Sangeetha Sabha, Sanathana Dharma
Vidyasala, and Department of Tourism Kerala - Government of Kerala.
It is one of the prestigious event in the Venice of the East. There are only three festivals in Kerala which commemorate the Raja of music. As being part of the festival I am very proud of offering my comments here. This year the festival is to be staged in a wider arena. Large amount of music lovers are expected to turn up to get involved in the festival of music and dance. Though Keraleeya Kalakshetra is the pioneers of this festival in Alappuzha more organisations of similair nature are longing to get associated with the five days programme.

Artistesin and around Alappuzha would do well to make the event a grand success with the presence of themselves and their students/disciples.
